Between 1984 and 2010, there were 3 RCTs trying to find out if surgeons should wear masks during surgery. Cochrane found 16 vaguely relevant studies, from 1980 to 2013. Am I the only one scared by how few studies that is? Not even 1 study every 2 years? ht
